Delegates & Committees:

MD/DE LABOR COUNCIL                                    Clarence Fletcher reported that mostly election business was being conducted.  Asked that everyone PLEASE VOTE.

HEALTHCARE/DELMARVA                                Mark Derrickson reported that there will be a healthcare meeting on February 26^th at 10AM .

HEALTHCARE/CHOPTANK                                 No Report

HEALTH & WELLNESS                                         Debbie Fidderman reported that participation is low, fitness rebates are on track, smoking cessation is on course, Cardio will be in the Bay Region again this year, please participate.

SAFETY/DELMARVA                                             Jeff Shrieves reported on the meeting of January 28^th.  Discussed switch sticks & grounds (testing every 2 years is required), gate keepers, 15kv jumpers, von unit training, permit tagging, status of the station forms, back squeeze and 1^st aid kits.  Next meeting will be February 25^th.

SAFETY/NRG                                                           Meeting to be Thursday, February 14^th at 10AM .

GRIEVANCES: (Delmarva) Curt Hudson, against G.A. Rickwood – 3^rd step.  (Choptank) Ben Cahall, last step scheduled February 21^st.  

ACCIDENTS, SICKNESS & DEATH:

Delmarva:  Robert Phillips, Jane Adkins, Ardeen Rhock-Taylor, Greg Hitch, Joe Fooks, Mike Healey, Mack Jones and Mark Whitby out sick.  Ed Warren – Death.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS:

Delmarva Power:  Meter Temps – Can’t find temps – discussed offering temp benefits.  Michele reported that eight out of ten temps in the call center were hired as permanent employees.  Safety Handbook discussed.  Safety Handbook committee consist of Curt Hudson, Chuck Harris, Steve Wheatley and Jay Bradley.

NEW BUSINESS:

Delmarva Power: - Manpower answers expected February 22^nd, David discussed.  Phil Cathell discussed relamping in Ocean City .  Phil Evans questioned 4-10’s, clarification on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to follow in writing.

Heather discussed coming in on day off on overtime.  Shouldn’t they be off?  David stated that 4-10’s was not designed for that and that all overtime has to be approved by supervisor first.

1^st Class job in maintenance shop – to be discussed on February 14^th.

Jeff Shrieves stated there is some talk of work to be subbed out in Station Dept. to contractors.  David to discuss with Eric Cessna.

Eddie Sparks – swore in Denise Horner.

Choptank - Meeting scheduled at Choptank on March 11^th, 7-9PM
